Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between a license signing and a ceremony?
A: A license signing is purely the legal act of the officiant signing your marriage license to make it official, with no ceremony. A ceremony involves vows, readings, and a formal declaration of marriage by the officiant.
Q: Do we need witnesses?
A: You do not need witnesses to get married in the State of Texas.
Q: How quickly can we get married?
A: If you would like to hear about your options, fill out a contact form below. Often, we can accommodate same-day or next-day bookings for license signings, depending on availability. For ceremonies, we recommend booking a few days to a week in advance.
Q: What documents do we need?
A: You will need a valid marriage license issued by your county clerk's office. We cannot provide the license. Please ensure you obtain it before our scheduled meeting.
Q: Do you serve all backgrounds and beliefs?
A: Absolutely! We are proud to offer inclusive services to all loving couples, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, race, or background.
Q: Where can you perform the ceremony/signing?
A: We can meet at your home, a public park, a coffee shop, or another mutually agreed-upon location. Travel fees may apply.
Q: How do we book your services?
A: The easiest way is to fill out our contact form. We'll discuss your needs and schedule your service.
